Details of this refurbishment
Spencer needed to refurbish his ground floor for a very practical reason; he could not see his children playing in the front room whilst doing the cooking in the kitchen. Whilst there was a small opening between the front and rear reception rooms, this wasn’t large enough to open up the rooms properly. We made this a large opening and also replaced the kitchen door with a large opening so that the whole area became one. Spencer could now see through to the living room from the kitchen. We also replaced the back window with french doors to open up the middle reception room onto the garden.
